Halibut are here

As you can see from the pictures, halibut are starting to show up in the bay, with the arrival of live bait the action should improve in the next few weeks. The shark action has improved as well, with a few 7 gill sharks moving into the south bay getting ready to start puping.

fellow sportsmen we had a sturgeon trip yesterday with a couple from new york, we started out at rat rock in 5ft of water, we counted 15 sturgeon rolling and jumping all around us we also saw a large sturgeon swimming on the surface about 15 ft behind the boat but we couldnt hook up, i have never seen that amount of fish in one area, i am going back on saturday to see if we can get one. captain sean
